Customs and Cross-Border Transportation Consultant

Experienced qualified customs/border/transportation specialist wanted for career in BorderConnect's Consulting Division. Must be highly organized, excellent communications skills both verbal and written. A general understanding of border programs FAST, CSA, PIP, C-TPAT, AMPS, ACI/ACE preferred. Junior Software Developer works with team of developers to implement new features, test and debug code, import data for customers, monitor and optimize performance on high-volume production environments. Sales Account Manager

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for seeking for new prospects, creating and improving business relationships with new clients, and is the liaison and the firsthand support between BorderConnect and our customers. Essentially, Sales Account Managers are the tangible representation that our clients do business with.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively develops new relationships with potential customers through conducting regular sales calls.
  • Actively researches highway carriers in North America crossing the border to generate new leads.
  • Maintains complete and accurate client relationship information using CRM software.
  • Follows up with new clients to ensure they are using the service to their full potential and to provide support when needed.
  • Establishes a long-term rapport with all clients and ensures complete customer satisfaction through annual follow-ups.
  • Generates referrals to gain new prospects through existing clients.
  • Attends meetings with potential clients as required.
  • Meets or exceeds monthly sales goals.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with highway carriers or customs an asset.
  • Experience working in commercial sales and possess sales training.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
