BorderConnect is founded in Windsor, Ontario and develops a PARS tracking service using Release Notification System.
Over 100 carriers use PARS service
BorderConnect's PARS tracking solution continues to grow in popularity. This popular solution will grow to help hundreds of companies by 2006.
ACE eManifest Solution Released
ACE Manifests are mandated by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). BorderConnect develops an ACE Manifest solution focused on fast data entry in response and it helps companies to create eManifests much more quickly than CBP's ACE Portal.
eManifest Processing Service Center Opened
BorderConnect introduces 24/7/365 eManifest processing and support for highway carriers. This helped hundreds of carriers process ACE, and later ACI eManifests and recieve timely support they need at any time.
Customs Consulting Division Opened
BorderConnect starts providing carrier customs consulting services. With over 50 years of combined customs experience BorderConnect's consulting division has saved highway carriers millions of dollars to date in potential fines and penalties.
ACI eManifest Solution Released
Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) introduces ACI eManifest. BorderConnect responds with one of the first ACI eManifest software solutions, providing customers with the familiarity and user-friendliness that they were are to with our ACE eManifest software.
BorderConnect Support Wiki Launched
In an effort to help customers and cross-border carriers navigate the complexities of cross-border trade and get the knowledge and resources they need, BorderConnect launched a free online support wiki which has now grown to nearly 200 'how-to' articles, guides and over 100 tutorial videos.
First RNS Warehouse Arrival Transmitted
BorderConnect's first Sufferance Warehouse customer transmits their first Warehouse Arrival Certification Message (WACM) to CBSA using BorderConnect's new RNS Arrival feature.
First eManifest White Label Customers
Cole International and Bridgeview Customs Brokers become BorderConnect's first third-party service providers to have their own white-label eManifest portal. Designed to match their branding and colour theme, while using BorderConnect's back-end eManifest software.
eManifest Developer API Launched
BorderConnect launched an eManifest API for third-party software and provided a simple solution for fleet management and other business software to connect to BorderConnect, streamlining eManifest data entry for ACE and ACI.
BorderPrint Store Opened
With a growing need for carriers to get the required cross-border barcode labels, lead sheets and customs documents, BorderConnect launched an online eCommerce store named BorderPrint where cross-border carriers and service providers can easily order the products they need shipped to their door.
U.S. In-Bond Manager Released
U.S. CBP changed requirements for U.S. In-Bond shipments and BorderConnect responded with an easy-to-use In-Bond Manager where customers can track in-bonds and arrive and export in-bond shipments quickly and easily.
Gmail and Document Management Internal Release
All eManifests processed by BorderConnect employees have supporting paperwork linked to the trips and shipments. Barcodes are automatically scanned to increase processing accuracy and make support faster and easier.
Modernization Update Released
Over a year in development, BorderConnect releases a fully responive redesign. Any device and resolution is supported. So, doing eManifests on an iPhone, iPad, laptop or desktop computer is fast and easy.
25 Million eManifests
BorderConnect customers have sent over 25 million ACE and ACI eManifests to customs using our software.
QP U.S. In-Bond Filing Released
BorderConnect officially releases QP in-bond filing add-on. The perfect solution to compliment the U.S. In-Bond Manager. Customers can now file their own U.S. in-bonds with U.S. CBP. A complete in-bond solution from filing to closing.
eManifest App Release
The eManifest app will be free and available to all BorderConnect customers and service providers. It helps drivers and fleet managers send and track ACE and ACI eManifests to CBP and CBSA in a simple easy-to-use manner. Will soon be available on the Google Play Store and iOS App Store.
